What's the difference between coaching and counseling?

Counseling is designed to treat mental health disorders, and requires a licensed clinical therapist. It may include services like EMDR and cognitive behavioral therapy. These services are ideal for clients looking for an evidence based traditional approach to address issues like depression, anxiety, and PTSD. These services may be covered by your insurance or your employer.

Coaching is a freeform service where you define your goals. It's about helping you transform into the best version of yourself and propelling your life in the right direction. It does not require a license, does not treat any medical or mental health diagnosis, and is not covered by insurance. However, that means you get complete freedom to customize your personal plan.

How much will I have to pay?

We accept insurance for counseling: Blue Cross Blue Shield, TriCare, Cigna/Evernorth, United Healthcare, Aetna, Craig Tiger Act, and Optum. Co-pays are plan dependent.
